The Jabra Sport Coach puts a personal trainer in your headphones

Fresh off the recent release of the Sport Pulse, Jabra wasted no time presenting another way to take your workout to the next level.

The Jabra Sport Coach, Jabra’s newest set of wireless headphones, integrates personal coaching into your workout routine. Designed for cross-training buffs, Jabra Sport Coach combines music, activity tracking, and interactive training in one in-ear device.

As the official performance partner of the ITU World Triathlon Series, Jabra consistently produces wearables created to push athletes into working harder in those intensive workouts. “For sports, we are committed to delivering innovative audio solutions designed to enhance the training experience for fitness enthusiasts,” said CEO, René Svendsen-Tune.

He continued, “[Jabra] started by specifically targeting runners and now we are taking the next step by delivering a solution optimised for cross trainers. We see clear possibilities for in-ear audio solutions combined with biometrics.”

Ticking off all of the  essentials, the headset features a TrackFit motion sensor that monitors the basics like cadence, distance, steps, and calories. When paired with the companion app, Sport Life, users can easily plan workouts, track progress in real time, and even analyse data. The Coach even offers a variety of 40 different set workouts that the trainer can lead users through and offer motivations and results during repetitions.

But, Jabra knows not to make compromise function for quality, and boasts premium music playback from Dolby in the earbuds.

Although these headphones will set you back about $149.99, compared to the cost of a personal trainer at your neighborhood gym, it’ll give your wallet some room to breathe. Be on the look out as The Coach finds its way onto shelves in the next few weeks.
